Analysis Questions:
1. Who is the interviewer? Who is the interviewee?
2. Describe the rapport between the interviewer and the interviewee.
3. Who is the target audience for this interview?
4. What is the subject or topic of the interview? In other words, what are they talking about?
5. What is the purpose, or social function of the interview? In other words, what is the interview for? Is it to entertain us? To inform us about something? To explain something to us? To ask us for something?
6. What is the tone of the interview? (serious, funny, tense, relaxed, etc.)
7. Try and identify the questions asked in the interview. Considering the context (the interviewer and interviewee, the social function, the target audience, etc.) are these questions appropriate?
8. Can you identify open-ended questions? Rhetorical questions? Leading questions? Follow-up questions?
